Help: Email Filters - Gmail & Google Workspace

Gmail

Please follow the instructions below in order to create an email filter and ensure your web form submission notifications will not go to spam.

Gmail / Google Workspace

  1. Log into your Google / Gmail Email account and click the settings icon in the upper right corner.

2. Click “See all settings” in the upper right corner.

3. Click “Filters and Blocked Addresses” in the center top menu bar.  Then click “Create a new filter”.

4. Type your domain name in the from field.  If your domain is bobsassistedliving.com, then type that.  Just make sure it matches whatever your website address is.  You don’t need to include www or an @ symbol or anything else, just the domain.

Then click “Create Filter” – NOT THE BLUE SEARCH BUTTON

5. Put a checkbox next to “Never send it to Spam” and then click the blue “Create Filter” button in the lower right.

6. After creating a filter for your own website domain, repeat these steps and create an additional filter for seniorcarewebsites.com  – remember, do not include www. or anything else, just include the domain name.

7. If you have created two filters for both your domain and seniorcarewebsites.com, you are now done and this should ensure no important emails from your website ever go to spam!
